I’m working on a project involving a pretty boring mantel that is not original to nor suits the house it’s in. A nice new coat coat of paint in a bright color or bold color contrast might be just what it needs.

I really enjoy the yellow one but replace the mirror with cute artwork!
I think I’m definitely going to go with grey walls and a yellow fireplace. A nice print would be awesome but I think I’m going to hang a mirror instead because it’s in an entryway and people like to check themselves out before they leave. There’s a mirror already in the house that I want to use – I just need to spray paint the frame black.
